Feed validator
Point it at a feed and it tells you which endpoints answer, whether the responses have the shape we expect, and what degrades because of what is missing. Nothing is stored — not the URL, and certainly not the token.
What it actually does
- Calls each endpoint once, with an eight second timeout and no retries. It does not follow redirects — a feed should answer for itself.
- Checks responses against the same field definitions the documentation is generated from, so a green result here means the shape is right, not merely that something answered.
- Refuses private and internal addresses. A feed we cannot reach from the public internet is a feed we cannot read in production either.
- Never stores the URL or the token, and never writes either into a log.
